Daphne is an investment & finance professional with +13 years of venture capital/private equity and startup development experience. She has invested in and advised +100 companies and funds on financial and growth strategies in Latin America, India, Africa, US and Europe. She currently serves as CFO in Laudex, a leading fintech in the education space, supporting +20,000 students to achieve their potential. She was an Investment Director, Latin America for Sagana, an investment firm working with family offices and corporates to invest in future-positive companies and funds. Previously, at 500 Startups, she handled deal flow analysis, investment management and portfolio advising for Latin American transactions. Daphne was an Investment Manager in India at Menterra Venture Advisors-Villgro, an early-stage fund and incubator. She also worked for Adobe Capital, a growth-stage VC fund in Mexico, where she was responsible for the deal flow management and analysis of equity investment and mezzanine debt deals. Formerly she headed acceleration programs for growing startups at the New Ventures Group Accelerator. Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico; and Business, Finance and Economics studies from École Supérieure de Commerce et Développement 3A in France.
